Considering the site is about recovery drinks I shouldn’t be surprised that we get asked what is the best recovery drink. In fact it’s probably one of the most common questions we get so I thought we should take a look and help you decide which is the best recovery drink for you.

As I always say, and I’m going to keep saying it, there really is no one recovery drink I would call the ‘best recovery drink’. It’s all down to personal choice and what works for different people. So rather than randomly picking and telling you this is the best recovery drink for women and anything with a yellow lid are the best recovery drinks – which I’d just be making up – I want to show you some great ones other people have been having success with.

Maybe their is one drink out there which is the best recovery drink but if such a thing exists I doubt even the manufacturers know it. If anyone tries to tell you that their recovery drinks are better than another – they’re probably trying to sell you it. If your friend tries to tell you that such and such is the best recovery drink, well they’re just not working from a large enough sample.

Getting The Best Recovery Drink for You

Reviews of people who have actually tested different recovery drinks and done their workouts and seen what kind of results they got, before deciding what was the best recovery drink for them. That’s how you judge any of them – whether it’s the p90 recovery drink or any cheap recovery drink. As long as it’s getting people results – it works. You can’t really gauge one apart from another because people workout differently and get results at different rates. But if it works (and it’s healthy!) – use it. That’s my philosophy anyway. And the more people using it and getting results, the more likely it is I’m going to trust the drink – and some of these recovery drinks are getting a lot of rave reviews.

A good quality drink, when used properly, will help anyone. It won’t do everything for you and (unluckily) you’ll still have to actually workout yourself. But for a few examples of the best recovery drink for runners, body builders or even your grandma – I have some suggestions.

So the first up on the best recovery drink list is the Whey Gold Standard. I’d add an image but we’ve mentioned this drink so many times on this site half of the front page must be this drink by now. At almost a thousand reviews and still getting 4.5/5 stars you really can’t go wrong with it. It’s a good solid protein drink – but there are others perhaps more designed for recovery.

Secondly is one of the more popular ones. While most of this site is about using a p90x recovery drink alternative, we can’t deny that the p90x recovery drink has been really popular and deserves a spot in the best recovery drink list. It’s made for recovering after the P90X (which if you didn’t know – it’s a really tough workout). It’s made for their workout but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it for another workout and it would do really well there. Thirdly, and lastly, on the best recovery drink checklist is Endurox. This is one I don’t think we’ve mentioned elsewhere before but it’s getting some amazing reviews, it’s well priced and it’s properly designed specifically for fast recovery. If I was to suggest any out of the three? This would probably be it. I could copy over a lot of details from it, or you could take a look for yourself and make your own decision. The tub isn’t flashy or exciting but don’t just a book by it’s cover as they say, judge the recovery drink by it’s results.
